See How Your Body Measures Up To Today's Porn Stars

Sexy woman

Do you have the body of a porn star?

Probably not. Most of us don't. And that's OK.

Previously held standards of beauty and bodily dimensions for porn stars were that of extremes — huge, perfectly round, gravity-defying boobs attached to the chests of ladies who were usually overly tanned, increasingly blonde, sans pubic hair and super thin.

The dudes are viewed as being of average or ripped build, but in possession of some serious length and girth below the belt. That's the typical and pervasive perception of the porn star "look," both male and female. But it's not as accurate as you may think.

Pornhub/KeezMovies have created a "Bodies of Porn" infographic (SEE BELOW) positioning the anatomical breakdown and difference between real bodies and those of porn stars, as envisioned by regular people. It appears, from the image comparison, that regular people still think of big-busted blondes with tiny waists when they think of skin screen queens.

They also don't see as many differences between the dimensions of certain parts of their bodies and those of porn stars.

However, the reality is that there has been a paradigm shift. Porn stars aren't as big and plastic anymore.

The subgenres (or fetishes) of porn —and there are a lot — actually celebrate small, natural and non-mound-like breasts, ungroomed areas, non-blondes and tattoo collectors.

Porn stars are becoming more and more physically interesting and varied. And one could speculate that rise of amateur video (you know featuring "real" people) is contributing to this.

The Burning Angel girls are all tattooed and pierced, while Jenna Jameson, the now-retired biggest porn star of all time, who broke through in the mainstream and who once embodied the boobtastic, big-haired stereotype, has changed her look dramatically and drastically. She now boasts bright sleeves of tattoos and ink all over her neck, back and knuckles. There are actresses still working today who are full of tattoos and we're not talking tramp stamps.

So while much of the public still sees porn stars through the lens of the stereotype, one that isn't vastly different from their view of the average person who doesn't act in porn, save for specific body parts, the reality is that the "look" of porn stars is changing and evolving in a modern way.

Tattoos are accepted and more normal. Implants are no longer quite as basketball-sized. Perhaps you need to brush up on your porn watching, America. But that's not a suggestion or anything. Or is it?
