Pippa Middleton went on the Today show this morning, not to promote a useless monarchy or a mediocre party-planning book, but to promote a charity bike ride (more on that here), and that's great. But of course, instead of solely dedicating her first ever US television interview to her cause, Matt Lauer encouraged her to talk about other things.
Like her notorious royal bridesmaid dress, as well as her butt, which, to be honest, I still can't seem to find (but I do cover the Kardashians a lot, so my vision may be skewed).
Of the royal wedding, Middleton insists, "It sounds funny to say, but we saw it as a family as just a family wedding. And actually I didn’t realize perhaps the scale of it until afterwards," she said. "And I had to make sure I helped my sister where I should, and look after the bridesmaids and pageboys. But we really saw it as sort of a family getting together … like any family."
And that dress' impact? "It wasn't planned," she said. "The dress was almost meant to be insignificant."
So insignifcant, in fact, that it doesn't get any special treatment. When asked where it is now? "It's hanging in my wardrobe at home. I haven't worn it since ... I think I'll just keep it there. It's tucked away."
