After all, you don't have to worry about crazy in-laws, or his mega loud snoring, or the way she leaves the bathroom counter super messy. You don't have to watch HIS shows; you can watch whatever the hell you want on Netflix. You don't have to go to her favorite restaurant for dinner. You can pig out on buffalo wings all by yourself. It's fabulous, isn't it?
Well, sometimes it isn't. And it's okay to admit that it's not.
Of course, it's important to learn to be happy on your own; you should never rely on somebody else to give you joy. However, it's okay to admit that you want to be in a relationship if you're single. Yes, some people prefer their freedom, but others desire companionship and affection.
