The blond beauty and Johnson, an automotive management consultant, surprised 200 friends and family members by inviting them to what they thought was an engagement party -- but was actually their wedding! (Makes sense, though: They got engaged back in January. Who waits six months for an engagement party?!)
The bride wore a pale pink Modern Trousseau gown accessorized by cowboy boots, and her daughter, Ricki, 8, served as her maid of honor. Cute!
Maynard, who's now going by the name Emily Johnson, told PEOPLE that her big day was also a big one for Ricki.
"It's just as much her day as it is mine because it's a big change for her. She just adores Tyler and he is so good with her," the new wife gushed. "He loves her as if she was his own daughter. It's been so great to see their relationship grow."
Emily admitted that her disastrous previous engagements from The Bachelor (to Brad Womack) and The Bachelorette (to Jef Holm) aren't exactly her fondest memories, telling the mag, "For so long I felt so embarrassed and ashamed about that TV stuff."
But she's happy things turned out the way that they did. "God brought us together. He's given me such peace about everything," Emily said of Johnson, who also planned a beach honeymoon for the couple. "I'm so grateful I met him ... The grace that my faith has given me to wipe that all away and not find worth in that and find it through God, Tyler has been a great example of that for me. He has truly lived out God's grace every day."
