A new study, published in the Journal of Epidemiology & Community Health, suggests that constantly being needled and nagged by a spouse can shorten a person's life. Men, particularly those that are unemployed, are especially suspectible. "In this study, we found that men were especially vulnerable to frequent worries/demands from their partners, contradicting earlier findings suggestings that women were more vulnerable to stressful social relations," the authors wrote.

In other words: stop nagging each other about taking out the trash, doing the dishes, or putting the children to bed.
