After all that hullabaloo about getting married in Paris, it turns out the Kanye-Kim wedding will be in Florence, Italy! And it turns out, the location has a special meaning to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian beyond just being beautiful.
West told a local Florence newspaper, La Nazione, "I love Florence, I love Italy and the Italian lifestyle. And I think we conceived our daughter North here, among the masterpieces of the Renaissance. It was our first honeymoon ... It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, for me the most beautiful in Europe."
West and Kardashian will get married on May 24 at the Belvedere Fort in Florence, next to Boboli Gardens. The kouple rented the estate for $410,000.
Beyonce and Jay Z, who'll serve as best man, will be in attendance -- but not filmed -- along with a slew of other A-list friends and family, including Kardashians, Jenners and Carters ... but maybe not Solange Knowles.
Though West is a visionary for sure, he and Kardashian are far from the first famous faces Italy has hosted for their big day. See more celebs who tied the knot in the most famous boot in the world!
