Say It's Not True! Rihanna & Chris Brown Back Together?!

Rihanna and Drake have been awfully cozy lately, but is her ex Chris Brown getting in the way yet again?

Rihanna has been joining Drake at nightclubs and even on-stage for duets in Europe and Los Angeles recently, and they've been devilishly close — bumping, grinding, separate exits to thwart the paps and staying in the same hotels. But — with a giant sigh, we report — on her birthday last week, RiRi reportedly got back in contact with Breezy. 

Insert eye roll.

A source close to the controversial pair dished to NY Post, "Chris started texting Rihanna on her birthday [Feb. 20], and the two have been sending each other a flurry of texts ever since."

"Rihanna didn't write back right away ... but later that night she started getting sentimental and texted back, 'thank you,' and asked how he was," our source added. "Since then, the two haven't stopped texting each other and friends are freaked out that she's going to start dating him again."

However, another source says that Rihanna hit Brown up first, saying she missed him, and that it led to the rest of the exchanges.

Brown's team is horrified at the developments, because they don't want his anger management therapy to be jeopardized if the "Birthday Cake" singer distracts him, especially if she's involved with Drake. (Remember that infamous bottle-throwing brawl in New York City's W.i.P. nightclub in 2012?)

Reps for Rihanna and Drake were mum on the rumors, but Brown's publicist said, "[Chris] is focused about his recovery. He only wants the best for her and is happy that she found someone."

Something tells us Brown's long-suffering girlfriend, model Karrueche Tran, is happy Rihanna found Drake, too. But damn, can't one of the most beautiful, sexiest women in the world find someone other than these two clowns to date?
