Who got engaged? Who had babies? Catch up on the weekend's biggest celebrity news!
Valentine's Day and weekend was appropriately flush with celeb love scoop — and most of it was great news!
Simon Cowell and girlfriend Lauren Silverman (you know, the woman he shacked up with while she was still married to his best friend) welcomed a baby boy! Little Eric Cowell made his debut on Feb. 14, and the only way Simon could be prouder would be if Eric grew up to join One Direction. Cowell and Silverman posed for pics with the beautiful little guy, and Cowell was glowing. Isn't it cute to see his softer side?
Cowell wasn't the only celebrity with baby news this weekend. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt welcomed a baby girl named Hazel on Feb. 15! Proud papa Krasinski shared the happy news on Twitter. "Wanted to let the news out directly. Emily and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our daughter Hazel into the world today! Happy bday!"
There aren't any photos of the little lady yet, but with genes like that, you know she's going to be a cutie. In other love news, we had two celebrity engagements! Christina Aguilera and Matt Rutler, her boyfriend of four years, announced their engagement over Twitter. "He asked and I said…… pic.twitter.com/XWZVZOjDX1," @xtina posted.
Aguilera and Rutler met on the set of her 2010 film Burlesque, where he worked as a production assistant. They began hitting red carpets together a month after she filed for divorce from first husband Jordan Bratman. The pair weathered a few storms together since, including some legal trouble: In March 2011, Rutler was busted for driving under the influence and Aguilera for public intoxication. (Turns out they were intoxicated by more than just each other.)
Since then, Rutler's moved into Aguilera's new $10 million mansion with her and Bratman's son, Max, whom Rutler clearly adores — the two main men in XTina's life appeared together in her music video for "Let There Be Love." Cute!
And in news that likely won't end well, Charlie Sheen is engaged to his next ex-wife, Brett Rossi. Rossi is a former porn star, so she's just his type.
Sheen, 48, popped the question in Hawaii to 24-year-old Rossi on Feb. 15. If they make it to their as-yet-unannounced wedding day, Rossi will be the fourth woman to make that ill-fated trip. He's previously been married to Donna Peele from 1995 to 1996, Denise Richards from 2002 to 2004 and Brooke Mueller from 2008 to 2011. In between, he's boned "angels" and "goddesses," because apparently mediocre looking porn stars are the new immortals. You know, when he wasn't busy tearing up hotel rooms with escorts.
Rossi's reportedly the jealous type, ordering Sheen to cut off all contact with his once-amicable ex-wife Richards, who has custody of their kids. Sounds like a real catch! Hopefully the kind that can be cured with antibiotics. Mazel tov, kids.
