Fancy restaurant meal? Meh. This Valentine's weekend, do what you really want to do.
16. How I Met Your Mother
If you’re not spending hours glued to your computer screen for more moments with Barney Stinson, then you're doing it wrong. Following the story of how Ted Mosby met his wife (coupled with the adventures of his wacky friends), "How I Met Your Mother" will definitely have you requesting "the highest of fives." Another Netflix original that if you haven't seen yet, you are seriously missing out! It's based on a woman's memoir of her time in prison and it's funnier than you would think! There's also unexpected romance and unconventional relationships, perfect for your Valentine's Day weekened marathon.
18. American Horror Story
This is is another one where you don't have to worry about being bored! Season 3 just wrapped up, so go ahead and rewatch seasons 1 and 2 to remember just how crazy this show gets. Each season has a different theme and cast of characters, though some of the actors stay on from one season to the next. You can watch AHS: Murder House all the way through AHS: Asylum and get ready for the big reveal of season 4's theme.
19. 30 Rock
We're just going to put this out there right now: Tina Fey should just be crowned the queen of everything, period. If you miss her on SNL’s Weekend Update, this gut-busting comedy about a head writer who is forced to deal with outlandish stars (not to mention her controlling and clueless executive producer) will give you your fill of all things Tina. Tracy Morgan as the unpredictable Tracy Jordan is a total bonus.
The reigning champ of sketch comedy shows, Portlandia only airs on IFC so it's perfect for a Netflix binge. Fred Armisen of SNL fame pairs up with his comedy partner Carrie Brownstein to populate the city of Portland. Each of them play multiple characters in an endless combination of pairs, including versions of themselves! You seriously won't be able to stop watching this one.
If you’re a fan of a great detective story, BBC’s Sherlock is definitely the way to go. As a modern telling of the Sherlock Holmes series, the amount of crazy plot twists and brow-raising riddles in this show will blow your mind. Watching the incredibly hilarious banter between the swoon-worthy actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman will more than make up for the stomach cramps you'll get from laughing so hard.
22. Breaking Bad
Centering around a high school teacher who moonlights in a more sinister profession, Breaking Bad is one of those shows that is just impossible to quit. Who knew that it was possible for Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston to play bad so well?
23. The League
For a show about a fantasy football league, The League is mind-blowingly hilarious. While these friends may seem unconventional and eclectic, it definitely has the recipe for an incredible sitcom. If it doesn't seem up your alley, then you'll be pleasantly surprised.
24. The Office
Fellow fanatics of The Office will definitely have no shame in admitting that this purely addictive show made "Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica" our battle cry. Whether it's Dwight Schrute's epic rivalry with Jim Halpert, Andy Bernard's anger issues, or the love story of Jim and Pam, there's something in this fun TV series for everyone.
25. Doctor Who
Doctor Who, slowly redefining the word sexy, one doctor at a time. We’ve all wished that there was some way to travel to any time period or destination at the drop of a hat (and with our vacation funds still intact); with the use of the TARDIS, his time-traveling police box, the beloved Doctor makes that happen. With that quirky sense of humor, it’s no wonder that so many rush to become his trusted companion.
26. Say Yes To The Dress
Is there any other way to spend your night than by watching brides throw down for their perfect dress? Nothing spells romance like bonding over your favorite bridezillas. Warning: Once you’re through with this show, blame fashion director Randy Fenoli for turning you into a Pinterest monster.
We aren't joking around with these obsessively amazing thrillers. Fringe is unconventional and, therefore, completely addictive. It deals with "fringe" science like mind control and alternate universes, but it has the most romantic subplot ever! We won't spoil it for you, but you're going to get pretty wrapped up in this one.
28. What Not To Wear
We're so upset about What Not To Wear ending, but at least we have a very good reason to rewatch it from season 1! Warning: Binge watching What Not To Wear may cause increased fashion sense and a super-sonic eye for matching prints with shoes.
29. Toddlers and Tiaras
Yes you will feel so guilty after binge-watching this, but the sass that comes out of these little girls' (and occasionally boys') mouths is priceless. It's more 'kids say the darnedest things' mix with a ton of hairspray. It's certainly a train wreck that you won't want to look away from for hours
Watch hot Oliver Queen turn into hot Arrow. This is the perfect genre to sit down and watch with your man since it also happens to be an action thriller. He will be into the crime fighting while you will keep questioning whether he and Laurel ever get back together. You will want to watch all the episodes to find out.
And the best thing about TiVo Roamio? It has 450 HD hours of storage so you’re not going to have to worry about wearing it out with a binge-watch marathon! You can watch whatever you want, whenever you want, live or on your favorite streaming site like Netflix, Hulu Plus and more! Roamio is totally giving you permission to use your V-Day weekend to multitask! Who says you can’t cuddle and catch up on everything you’ve missed? And while you're at it, keep Roamio open on your iPad so you can make sure you don't miss a moment of the Winter Olympic Games. Happy Valentine’s!
