'Fifty Shades' Friday: Dakota Johnson's Sex Secrets & More!

Dakota Johnson in 'Elle'

What happened this week in Christian Grey's world? Well, Fifty Shades of Grey fans were treated to a new casting rumor, a Christian Grey exit scare, and more. But before we go into what you missed, check out this brand new scoop: Dakota Johnson gave a lot of sexy dish on the movie!

In an interview with Elle magazine, Johnson — who stars as Anastasia Steele in the steamy screen adaptation of the series — revealed what's going on with the film's sex scenes ... and how she manages to film them without turning the same shade as Grey's infamous Red Room of Pain.

She's simply bred for this kind of role, she explains. "I don't have any problem doing anything. The secret is I have no shame."

Still, Johnson doesn't necessarily have the thickest skin in the world, particularly after being raised in the spotlight of her famous parents, Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson. She described her teen years as being particularly tough, venting, "I think people, especially the press, like to pick on children of famous people and I think that's f---ing awful. Things get made up. It's so, so sad. And there's absolutely nothing you can do about it as a 16-year-old. You're like ... 'Why? What did I do?'"

Thankfully, now 24, she can escape in things like books. And, well, into Fifty Shades Of GreyBut don't be fooled: Johnson confessed that more than the book's sex scenes (you know, the stuff that made it a household name), she enjoys the love story best. "Reading the book, I found myself more interested in the ways they were breaking each other down emotionally than the sex scenes," she said. "I think there's a part of a woman that wants to be the thing that breaks a man down."

Meanwhile, Johnson may have a new castmate. Rumors began circulating that Katie Cassidy would be signing on to the film after Fifty Shades author E.L. James Instagrammed a photo of her stretching, and she does look the part for Leila Williams. See the photo here!

And the big question on everyone's minds: Is Jamie Dornan leaving the movie?! This would be the second time a Christian Grey has bailed on the fleshy flick. But fret not: Dornan is leaving the set to work on his BBC series, The Fall. (Get the scoop on all that right here!) But that's all according to plan! So don't rush to whip him just yet.

Unless, you know, both he and his character are into that sort of thing.
