Love Movember:No-Shave November: Interviews With Men In Mustaches
No razors in sight!

We're finishing up our love-fest with the men of Movember by proudly introducing you to Roger, James and Scott. These men are growing out their beards and mustaches for a cause. For those of you not familiar with Movember (aka No-Shave November), men go shave-free for the month of November and raise money for different men's health charities.

The Movember organization describes their vision as wanting "to have an everlasting impact on men's health." This is a very admirable goal, so let's give a hand to the men profiled here today! And remember, it's never too late to get involved and donate!

Name: Roger Waysok
Age: 34
Hometown: Calumet City, IL
Charity of Choice: The Movember Foundation, Men’s Health Research
What made you decide to take part in Movember? I wanted to inspire the men in my family to take care of themselves. On a larger scale, I wanted to do whatever I could to promote the awareness of men’s health; getting people in control of their own well-being and cancer prevention is a priority.
Why did you pick Movember Foundation? With funding comes research and education that will hopefully save lives.
Do you have a significant other? Yes
What does she think of the facial hair? She’s used to my goatee so this wasn’t a shock. She motivates me to take care of myself and she inspired me to do this.
Think you'll keep the 'stache once Movember is over? Maybe.

Name: James Buonantuono
Age: 34
Hometown: Smithtown, New York
Charity of Choice: Prostate Cancer Research Foundation
What made you decide to take part in Movember? A very close friend of mine recently found out that her father has prostate cancer.
Why did you pick the Prostate Cancer Research Foundation? It's a great resource for information.
Do you have a significant other? No, and I don't foresee that changing this particular month for some odd reason...
What do others think of the facial hair? I have actually received positive feedback from members the opposite sex who aren't family members. This is a good sign.
Think you'll keep the 'stache once Movember is over? I'm not going to lie, I'm digging it right now, so it's a consideration. That being said I've started to date someone who may influence this decision.

Name: Scott Dempsey
Age: 26
Hometown: Hoboken, NJ
Charity of Choice: The Movember Foundation
What made you decide to take part in Movember? To help spread awareness of men's health issues.
Why did you pick The Movember Foundation? I chose this charity because of its dedication to educating and bringing awareness to men's health issues including prostate and testicular cancer. They have a great site that allows you to easily share your stories and progress throughout the month, as well as collect donations.
Do you have a significant other? No, not currently.
What do others think of the facial hair? Pretty sure this will keep me single throughout the holiday season, although I have heard chicks dig the stache.
Think you'll keep the 'stache once Movember is over? Might expand upon it to a full beard, don't want to hog all the mustache glory to myself.
