"It's not ugly, it's just over," an insider said.
Josh Brolin and Diane Lane have decided to split after more than eight years of marriage, their reps told Us Weekly.
"It was a mutual decision,” an insider told the site. “It is very amicable. It's not ugly, it's just over."

The couple reportedly split months ago. Brolin, now 45, and Lane, 48, married in August 2004. In December of that same year, Diane called police after an altercation with Josh, but she never pressed charges.
