Rule No. 1: Delete all traces of your ex from your phone.
Think your last breakup was gut-wrenching? Try living in Michelle Money's world and having it filmed for national TV. Once upon a time, this former Bachelor contestant—who's still great friends with Emily Maynard—thought she'd sail into the sunset with Brad Womack. That is, until he failed to extend one of those all-promising roses.
Fast forward to today, and the single mom and spokesperson for the new DROID RAZR M by Motorola is still on the journey to find her Mr. Right. "I just broke up with my ex. It didn't go over very well," Michelle confides to YourTango about the recent end to a long-distance love.
With all this not-so-happily-ever-after experience, Michelle's learned a thing or two about bouncing back after a breakup. Here, her top five tips for getting over… what's his name?
Tip 1: Practice "out of sight, out of mind"
"Delete, delete, delete… delete," Michelle tells us about what to do with those Instagrams of happier times on your phone. "Just delete it all, you have to. I've gotten to the point where, if I do get a text message from him, you just don't reply. If you know it's wrong and you know the relationship isn't going to work, just cut and dry for the both of you."
