"Both of us have longed to have children, but the reality that we now have two sons is almost unbelievable," the couple, who have been married since 2005 gushed. The birth of our second son completes our family in a most precious and perfect way. It is difficult to fully express how we are feeling at this time; we are just overwhelmed with happiness and excitement," the couple gushed.

The pair wed after 12 years of coupledom in 2005 and then they ached to have a family so when they were beaming when welcoming their first son Zachary in 2010. "I want Zachary to have a sibling," John once said, which makes sense as to why they decided to have another child through a surrogate mother.
John and Furnish are two of the oldest parents (to young children) in Hollywood. Other fathers who've had children over 55 include Strom Thurmond, Mick Jagger, Luciano Pavarotti and Rupert Murdoch (Thrumond and Murdoch were over 70!).
