BMWs, Christian Louboutins and a good painting for the house? That's what it seems for certain celebrity couples who are enjoying their newly purchased art from Miami's Art Basel Exhibition last weekend. So, which couples hit up the exhibition for their creative sides and which just wanted to party?
Well, the king and queen of hiphop were there to show their support and their artsy side. Jay-z and wife Beyonce paid a pricey $20,000 for 'Everyone's Scared,' a painting by Hebru Brantley. The 31-year-old artist was a finalist in the Bomba Artisan Series, produced by Russell Simmons' Rush Foundation.

Jordin Sparks was also among the stars who hit up the event, but seemingly was without her date—unfortunately, Jason DeRulo wasn't on Jordin's arm this time! Rick Ross also showed up solo, but took home a $20,000 photo entitled "Love is the Drug." However, our favorite guest who showed up without a date was Usher Raymond, who purchased a Louis Vuitton waffle maker—now that's a gift I'd want to receive.
For many, showing their support came with making the appearances rather than dropping a large chuck of cash. Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett-Smith were big fans of the Jack Shainman Gallery, which they visited with seven bodyguards and blocked off the gallery until they were done viewing, however didn't make a purchase. Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West also made an appearance at an in-store party for Kanye's manager Don J who was launching his Don J Snapback line.
