For some couples, getting pregnant means rushing to the alter. But for Dax Sheppard and Kristen Bell being engaged is probably as close as they will get to exchanging vows ... for now, anyway! The When in Rome costars began dating in 2007 and have been engaged since 2009. Now, they've confirmed they're expecting their first child together!
So, has Shepard's role on Parenthood taught him anything about being a parent off-screen? Well, we'll see in nine months! However the 37-year-old and his leading lady aren't planning on walking down the aisle until everyone can. Sounds like Angelina and Brad—well, you know, until they decided they're getting married anyways.

Bell, 32, told The Advocate back in February that a wedding wasn't a priority. "The reason we're not rushing to get married is because I don't feel appropriate taking advantage of a right that's denied to my [gay and lesbian] friends." Equal rights is an important issue to both Shepard and Bell, who are avid supporters of gay marriage. "We're just standing up for what we believe in."
