How did you come up with the name “Gindo’s Spice of Life?”
When I was in 3rd or 4th grade someone told me that pepper was known to help with fertility and therefore was nicknamed "the spice of life". I can't remember who told me that or how credible the source was, but ever since whenever someone would offer me pepper, I would say, "Absolutely, it's the spice of life". I was given the nickname Gindo (a play on my last name) about 14 years ago while living in San Francisco, and I absolutely hated it. For that reason, it stuck. My wife didn't even know my real name was Chris for the first six months after she met me.
Tell us your secret in making it so tasty!
Fresh habaneros. They have an amazing flavor profile. The problem is, they are so spicy most people can't actually taste them. My secret is blending just the perfect amount so you can taste the flavor without melting your face off.

Hot wings are my comfort food! It's seriously an addiction that I'm trying to cope with.

I'm just about ready to release a new green sauce, and I'm in the process of developing a honey habanero sauce.
