For 35-year-old singer Shakira, being a sexy she-wolf is old news; she's a soon-to-be mama! According to E!, the Latina beauty is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Gerard Piqué—a center back for FC Barcelona.
Earlier yesterday, Shakira took to her Facebook and shared her joyous news with the world: "As some of you may know, Gerard and I are very happy awaiting the arrival of our first baby!" Shakira's news didn't stop there, however, as she backed up her good news with some upsetting news for Shakira fans.
"We have decided to give priority to this unique moment in our lives and postpone all the promotional activities planned over the next few days," Shakira continues. "This means I will not be able to be a part of the iHeartRadio Music Festival, but I'm sure this weekend in Las Vegas will be spectacular!" Shakira Vows Never To Marry
Apparently, Facebook is the way to go with this relationship! She confirmed they started dating last year, when she posted a picture and spoke of the rumored relationship for the first time ever when she captioned it "I present to you my sunshine."
On top of the happy pregnancy news, rumor has also gotten out that Shakira will fill Christina Aguilera's spot for the fourth cycle of The Voice coming this spring. What an exciting time for the "Whenever, Wherever" singer!
