Our exclusive interview with Bravo's "Miss Advised" star and sexpert Emily Morse.
Take one part "nice girl from Michigan," stir in a dash of San Francisco open-mindedness and sprinkle liberally with expert insights on sex, and you've got Emily Morse. Whether you've been married for years or you've just met a special someone, "sexpert" Emily is more than happy to advise in a fresh, funny, and non-judgmental way.
Want credentials? Emily has plenty to spare. She's shared her work on the Today Show, Inside Edition, TMC, E! and Style Network. With her doctorate studies in Human Sexuality, her knowledge goes beyond personal experience. If that's not enough to convince you of Emily's sexpert status, there's also her long-running Sex with Emily show in 2005, her co-authored book Hot Sex: Over 200 Things You Can Try Tonight, and her presence on Bravo's reality show Miss Advised.
Read on for our exclusive with Emily, which reveals plenty of juicy tidbits:
1. What are you working on right now? Have any exciting news to share?
Yes. So many things: We just had a successful Season One of Miss Advised on Bravo TV. My radio show and podcast, Sex With Emily, can be easily downloaded on my website and subscribed to through iTunes. Anyone can listen to the 100's of Sex With Emily podcasts for free. And, I'm writing my second book, a follow up to Hot Sex: Over 200 Things You Can Try Tonight, as well as my third iPhone app with advice for couples, in addition to my two other apps: Kegel Camp and 101 Sex Tips from Sex With Emily.
2. Fill in the blanks: My favorite romantic movie is _______, and my favorite love song is _________.
My favorite romantic movie is Annie Hall and my favorite love song is Making Love Out of Nothing At All by Air Supply (I love 70s love songs!)
3. Do you believe in love at first sight?
I believe in lust at first sight. I don't believe you can actually love someone at the very first sighting. It takes getting to know someone to find out if you love them. You can feel attracted to someone at first sight — this happens all the time.
