With the 2012 Summer Olympic Games kicking off in just three days, everyone is buzzing with excitement – especially those who will be on hand in London to watch the events go down!
One British couple in particular is making sure they catch most of the action first-hand. Prince William and his lovely wife Kate will not only be attending 25 events combined with Will's brother, Prince Harry, but they'll also be one of the first to welcome the Olympic torch as it passes by Buckingham Palace on Thursday, reports People.
On opening day, the royal couple will join the world in starting the games at the Opening Ceremony, and, according to the mag, they'll also be co-hosting Queen Elizabeth's fancy schmancy celebration for all the head honchos of the world who will be in town. 5 Names We Hope Prince William & Kate Choose For The Future Queen
When their not schmoozing with the leaders of the world or the talented athletes camped out in Olympic Village, Kate will be cheering on Britain's hockey, tennis and sailing competitors, and the Prince will be waiting for her to join him as he takes in the games happening at East London's Olympic Park.
William's younger brother Prince Harry plans to catch the beach volleyball games, and is clearly looking forward to it. "To see Horse Guards Parade turned into a beach is going to be amazing," he told the BBC, reports People. (We're sure he won't mind watching all the hot female volleyball players, either!)
The three will eventually meet up to watch their cousin Zara Phillips hopefully take home the gold for the U.K's equestrian squad on her lightning fast horse, High Kingdom. If she wins, perhaps all four royals will party the night away when the games end and the real celebrations begin back in Olympic Village. They don't call them the "Days of Glory" for nothing!
