Liam Hemsworth popped the question to Miley Cyrus – and now we're getting a look at the rock he gave her when he proposed!

The 22-year-old Hunger Games star wasn't messing around, approaching famed celeb jeweler Neil Lane to create the sparkler.

According to PEOPLE, Hemsworth wanted "something unusual" for his 19-year-old fiancee ... and it sounds like he got his wish.

The 3.5-carat cushion-cut diamond ring reportedly has a center stone cut way back in the 19th century.

As for Miley, she's clearly happy to be engaged and a big fan the ring – tweeting earlier today...
