Seven-year-old Men

Working in the outsource content writing sector, I'm always drained out when the day ends. Constant thinking and conceptualizing will take its toll too. Not to mention the link builder tasks I'm doing, which I am only starting to learn. It is good to know however, that my outsourcing job is not putting a strain on my relationship. That's why whenever I'm with my girl, I'm always like a kid who couldn't do anything. Mostly, I'll just sleep on her lap or lean on her shoulder, holding her tight. Sometimes, she'll just laugh about it and say that it's pathetic to see me--someone who acts like an overlord--be in this weak state. Well, she knows that when I'm not with her, I am all overlordly and badass. She once asked me why am I not like being that usual Overlord when I'm with her, then I said; "well men are really like that."

Truth be told, men are only trying to act tough because being tough is the easiest thing to do for us. We're actually hardwired to be like that, even in the animal kingdom, most male animals are always showing off against other male animals for reasons of glory, sex, and free food. In society, men are always expected to be like that, we're expected to be tough, strong, and feared, but that's not what we wanted; what we all want is to be treated like a kid. But we couldn't really say it, because it will destroy the image that we have been trying to put up for thousands of years; being tough and shit like that. Good thing that there is one way we can be ourselves without being laughed about it: with our partners. Since we're with someone that we love, we can be sure that we can be ourselves.

That's why most men in relationships are childish whiny bastards; yes, we know that we're all crappy unkempt seven-year-olds when it comes to relationships. We only like to play, to eat, and be messy; and we expect that our partners will be there to play with us, feed us, and clean us up. It may look like a one-way-thing for women, but once you really treat us like seven-year-old kids, we will be like your loyal dog. No seriously, we'll guard you with our lives and bite the shit out of anyone who gets a single strand of your hair misplaced. So for all the women out there, just treat your man like a seven-year-old kid, and he will be sure to be your, eternally!~
