It's not exactly the same as appearing on the cover of Out Magazine with all of the fanfare that entails, but in a new interview with the New York Times, Jim Parsons, the 39-year-old Emmy winning star of The Big Bang Theory, quietly revealed his sexuality.

Jim apparently didn't go into any further detail about his private life in the interview (although the National Enquirer has named his partner as Todd Spiewak, who once accompanied him to the Golden Globes), preferring instead to talk about his role in the upcoming Broadway revival of Harvey.
"Elwood has such warmth, and wants nothing more than to connect with other people," he said of the part made famous in the film version by Jimmy Stewart. "The jump-out-of-bed happiness I feel transcends any nerves about taking on a history-laden role." 'White Collar' Hottie Matt Bomer Comes Out Of The Closet
Still, his admission about his sexuality is still a notable one, and Out.com pointed out that like other actors in Hollywood, Jim "has lived as a gay man in his private life, but in his professional public life he skirted the issue."
We're happy that the star finally felt comfortable enough to put the rumor mill to rest!
