It's a familiar pattern: celebrity couple falls in love, gets hitched, and agrees to star in their own reality show series about the ups and downs of life as newlyweds. After the shows end, the relationship quickly follows suit and the dream couple files for divorce.

That's right, 24-year-old Kevin Jonas, the oldest member of sibling boy band The Jonas Brothers, and his wife Danielle Deleasa are set to star in the upcoming E! reality series Married to Jonas, according to Celebuzz. The show will follow the couple—who have been married since 2009—through the perks and challenges of everyday life as a famous pair.
The show will be produced by Ryan Seacrest, who said in a recent statement: "Our production team became curious about what life would be like for a young bride entering the excitement, and sometimes chaos, of a pop star's life. Looking through the lens of young love, the show will examine the ups and downs of Dani and Kevin's marriage, against the backdrop of their contrasting family cultures, traditions and individual careers."
The chaos and constant drama—real or staged—could prove challenging to the young couple, as it has to several reality show couples before them. It could be uniquely difficult for Danielle, a former hairdresser who had been living outside the prying public eye until she met Jonas in the Bahamas in 2007 and soon married into pop royalty. Celebuzz spoke to relationship expert Patrick Wanis, who noted: "All the potential tests and tribulations one would go through over decades gets condensed into a very short space of time when you're filming. It speeds up and intensifies life experiences and creates extraordinary amounts of stress."
Relationship hopefuls and skeptics alike can tune in to the premiere on August 19 to find out if this Jonas marriage can survive the stress.
