37-Year-Old Fergie Is Still Not Ready To Have A Baby

She may be approaching 40, but the Black Eyed Peas singer isn't in a rush to procreate.

Like every other married or long-term couple in Hollywood, Fergie and her husband of three years, Josh Duhamel, keep getting asked when they're going to start having kids. Although they are both in their late 30s, Fergie wants you to know that she's not ready!

"We like each other. We like hanging out together and we have fun," the 37-year-old Black Eyed Peas singer recently told MTV News about her relationship with Josh. "We have fun in the kitchen cooking and singing silly songs. Not to give too much away — I'm not going any further than that — but we have a good time together, and it's nice to get to have that quality time. We enjoy it." Did Josh Duhamel Cheat On Fergie? And while some people speculated that Fergie's current break from her music career after eight years of touring may have been partly because of her desire to have kids with Josh, Fergie pooh-poohed those reports, claiming that she's just kicking back.

"Eight years of being on the road, and now I've been off the road, what, five months?...I'm enjoying this time of just being home for that long of a period," she said, adding that a pregnancy announcement is definitely not imminent.

"It's not happening yet, I can tell you that definitely...But we want to have a family, so that's in the cards, but it's just not this second."

Thanks to technological advancements in fertility treatments, Fergie could very well wait until her forties like Mariah Carey and get pregnant then, but should she?
