We had hope for Heidi Klum and Seal when we heard the shocking news about their separation. We thought there would be a chance for reconciliation, especially when Seal kept his ring on with "no intention of taking it off anytime soon." We really rooted for them to get back together and save their seven-year marriage. But now we're hearing that Seal has finally taken off his wedding ring and the couple is really, truly, no-chance-of-reconciling done.

"They had both been wearing their wedding rings and had mutually thought they might be able to work it out," one source tells People. "But it doesn't look like it's going that way."

"They have had very little contact and Heidi wants to keep it this way," the source says. "She feels less stressed out now and feels it's best to be away from Seal, so she doesn't get confused about her feelings. She is moving forward with the divorce."
We're so bummed about this split in particular because Heidi and Seal seemed like a compatible, great couple. They were popping out babies like crazy and their little family always looked happy. News of their divorce came out of left field and we were truly shocked and disappointed when we found out. Seven years in Hollywood is like 50 in the real world, so we thought they were in it for the long haul.
