Did you know that conservative Republicans have less sex than any other political group? And that Americans regard fidelity in their president as more important than fidelity in a romantic partner? Match.com recently conducted their second-annual comprehensive study of single people in America, who now constitute one-third of the population. Over 5,000 singles participated in the Singles In America survey, with questions ranging from "How many times have you had sex in the last 12 months?" to "Has the economy affected your dating life?" The survey produced some pretty darn juicy results...
Frankly, the factoid we're most surprised about is this: "When it comes to cohabitation, men want to commit sooner than women. Contrary to popular belief, when dating a new partner, 46% of men and 26% of women would expect to move in together before they'd been dating someone for less than a year."
Maybe the economy is affecting these men's dating lives more than they let on (60% of singles say it has not changed their dating habits), and they're shacking up before they're ready to save on rent money.
