First comes marriage, then a puppy, and later maybe a baby carriage for the royal couple?
Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton may have postponed their babymaking plans for now, but it looks like they are taking "baby" steps towards starting a family together!
As we previously reported, the future King and Queen were seen with an adorable black puppy last month, fueling speculation that the couple had adopted a dog. And, now, it's officially official: the couple are parents to a month-old cocker spaniel, confirms the palace!
According to Us Weekly, the couple first met their so-far unnamed pet around Christmas, and it's rumored that William presented the male pup to Kate as a present. Aww! Did Prince William Really Give Kate A Puppy?
"He belongs to a litter of cocker spaniels from one of Carole Middleton's friends near home," said a palace aide, adding that, at the time, Prince William and Kate weren't sure if they were ready for a dog. "At first, they had just taken it home for a short period of time to see how they adapt."
However, it looks like they quickly became enamored with the spaniel charmer and now have made him an official royal family member.
"William and Catherine fell in love with the pup instantly and it wasn't long before they decided to keep him," added another source. "He's now part of the royal fold!"
