The 'My Week With Marilyn' star is taking time off to spend with her daughter Matilda.
It's no secret that Michelle Williams impressed us all this awards season for her outstanding performance in My Week With Marilyn, but could this be the last we see of her for awhile?
The 31-year-old actress, who was dressed in a gorgeous red Valentino gown for last night's Screen Actors' Guild Awards, shared with E! Reporter Giuliana Rancic her unexpected upcoming plans. 3 Reasons Why We Love Michelle Williams As Marilyn Monroe
When asked what was next for her, Williams said, "I just want to go back to being a mom for a while."
After having Matilda six years ago with the late Heath Ledger, Williams is excited to finally have the time to be a mother again. She shared with Rancic that she likes to keep her two worlds, professional and personal, separate. So much so, in fact, that she told the Today Show last week that she forgot about the scheduled Oscar nominations while getting Matilda ready for school in the morning. Her focus was on mommy duties.
Now that Williams will have more free time with Matilda, how will she spend it? She plans on introducing her daughter to her other famous film, Brokeback Mountain, because it was during the filming of this movie when she first fell in love with Ledger. Williams recently told Angeleno Magazine, "I will watch it with her, when she's ready. It is hard to imagine what that would feel like, but one day, yes, we will watch it together."
