The actress dishes on her body and how she's only getting sexier with age.
Salma Hayek is 44? Well, she certainly doesn't look it on the cover of Allure's September issue! The actress recently took some time apart from promoting her new cosmetics line, Nuance, to talk to the beauty magazine about aging, and, well, being so darn sexy!
The Oscar-nominated star, who has a 4-year-old daughter, Valentina, with husband Francois-Henri Pinualt, hasn't let motherhood or growing older get the best of her sultry side. In fact, she feels that, like wine, she only gets better with age. Her "boobs" may have changed a lot over the past ten years ("They're not bad, by the way. I'm not complaining about them," she tells Allure), but that doesn't weigh on her confidence.
"As a woman, you should be more at ease with your sexuality when you are in your 40s," Hayek says. "You are more self-assured about that part. And that's the way it should be."
She says of younger women: "If you are a girl who cannot walk in heels, it doesn't matter how beautiful you are. If you look like a chicken that's been spiked in the feet, it's not going to be sexy."
OK, so some of us may just be clumsy in heels (it's hard not to wobble when you're four inches off the ground!). But, is there a general truth to Hayek's theory? Is the upside to aging that you get to be completely confident in your own sex appeal? Or does that self-assuredness come as a result of being a wife and mother?
Either way, Salma Hayek makes growing older sound like a fantastic thing!
