About Once A Year, Couples Have Kitchen Sex

The typical family lives in a house for eight years. That's nearly a decade of memories—your first night together, the first party you hosted... and all of those nights you had sex in the kitchen. Which, according to a recent survey of 3,000 Brits commissioned by Siemens Home Appliances, comes out to about seven times.
Of course, that's not all that's done in the kitchen. It also hosts 26,280 meals, 384 arguments and 192 heart-to-heart discussions. The Brits will also exchange 1,824 smooches, make six life-changing decisions, and argue 384 times, all while preparing the night's dinner.

When not using the counter or tabletop for love-making, couples conduct life-changing decisions in their kitchens. Thirteen percent of couples decide to get married after a discussion that takes place in the kitchen, while 15 percent opt to get divorced.
