Ashley and JP Rosenbaum hit the talk show circuit---you know, just like every other engaged couple.

It's been less than 48 hours since Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum made their engagement official on The Bachelorette. So what does a couple do after such a big announcement? Go on a press tour, of course.

From Jimmy Kimmel to Good Morning America and Live With Regis & Kelly, the reality show lovebirds left no plush couch untouched.

So what did viewers learn besides "insider" behind-the-scenes gossip and scripted PR mumbo-jumbo? That Ashley and JP are actually…charming. Their banter and interactions with the talk show hosts were more "aww"-inducing than a Taylor Swift tune. Their incessant yet adorable hand-holding and eye contact made Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie look like PDA amateurs. But more surprisingly, they can both tell an engaging story.

Take for instance, JP's text message fiasco:

JP: "I almost gave it away. I had some inadvertent text messages meant for her, but sent to someone else."
Jimmy Kimmel: "Just like Anthony Weiner. What did they say?"
JP: "Things like, 'I love you, baby.' At that point it was pretty recent—how do you explain it? There's no one I would talk to that way other than her. One guy I had to tell under penalty of death."

And their love of Skype:

JP: "We live on Skype. I don't watch any TV any more. It's work, gym, three hours of Skype, sleep."

Pretty hi-larious. OK, I guess Ashley and JP may have the upper hand on Shark Week—but only for today.
