Prince Harry Can't Bring A Lingerie Model As His Wedding Date

Who knew that not being "official enough" would get you turned away from a wedding?

Apparently, it will if (A.) you're not part of the British royal family and (B.) you've been with a said royal for less than an appropriate amount of time that will make you acceptable.

Well, that's what Prince Harry's conundrum is right now with his current girlfriend. While his brother married his long-term sweetie last April, Prince Harry has been having a ball playing the field. And it's that very thing that's preventing him from inviting his current lady, actress and model Florence Brudenell-Bruce to his favorite cousin Zara Phillips' wedding. Is Prince Harry Dating A Lingerie Model?

Now that's a bummer. Especially since Prince Harry takes credit for getting Zara hooked up with her soon-to-be husband, rugby player Mike Tindall!

But as we would imagine it goes in the royalty game, "dating around" could look a little bad. And, since Harry got together and broke up with Chelsy Davy, then spouts off about wanting to being single "for a long time" — can you blame everyone for raising an eyebrow about Florence? We're sure they're wondering how long they'll last. So what's the point? Is Prince Harry Marriage Material?

Well, it seems that Harry's kind of bummed, according to a source that spoke to UK newspaper, The People: "Harry won't be allowed to bring a plus one because he is not seen as officially being with a girlfriend. He is a bit put out because he and Zara are very close and he regularly boasts he got her and Mike together."

Well… All we'll say is that we hope that Harry and Florence (or Harry and anyone) manage to last so that this doesn't happen again. It would be nice to bring a date to your family functions.

But then again, we're sure Harry can handle going single. After all, that is part of his agenda for now…
