Courtney and her husband Doug Hutchison, 51, clear up rumors about their May-December relationship.
It is rare for a 16-year-old girl to find a husband that her parents would approve of at such a young age, let alone a soulmate, but Courtney Stodden claims to have found just that in her relationship with her 51-year-old husband, Doug Hutchison. Reportedly, her parents were happy to welcome Doug into their Christian family and even gave their legal permission for the couple to wed.
After the story became a sensation, with many people claiming that Doug was a cradle-robber, the couple is clearing up a few rumors:
"I was a virgin," Courtney said. "I knew that if I kept that, I would be blessed with a beautiful gift. And God did! He blessed me with my soulmate."
Well, we aren't so sure about her chastity especially since Stodden claims her new beau is a "tiger" in bed, reportes E! Online. Actor Doug Hutchison, 51, Marries A 16-Year-Old Country Singer
But, yes, she is actually 16. E! even has the birth certificate, although we are still a little skeptical. And yes, her boobs are real.
"I did a breast examination and Courtney's felt like normal breasts. If someone has implants either below or on top of the muscle you can squeeze and felt the implant moving around but I did not feel implants in Courtney." Dr. Gabriel Chiu told RadarOnline. (Evidently, Botox doesn't count.) 7 Celebrity May-December Couples
It seems like the newlyweds will go to great lengths to prove their innocence. But how did Doug get so lucky as to meet a teen bombshell/career boost like Courtney?
Reportedly, the May-December couple met online when Courtney reached out to Doug for acting lessons through a mutual friend. Four months later, they were married, and she is getting the ultimate lesson in acting.
"I believe there's one rule in Hollywood, and that's that there are no rules," Doug said. "I've been courted by producers, directors, agents... I don't think love is a career killer."
Mission accomplished! There are rumors that the two are looking to get their own reality show, and it won’t be long before Courtney's country music career hits gold. Celebuzz has even compiled her greatest hits and photos including "Don't Put It On Me," which is all about bullying. (What did you expect, she is, like, still in high school...)
One man who wasn't up for this publicity roller coaster ride was Doug's agent and manager who jumped ship because of this stunt. His mother also doesn't approve of his new child bride and cut all communication with her son.
What is the male word for "cougar" again? Oh yeah, PERV!
