"We have decided to end our marriage. This was a very difficult decision. We have come to an amicable conclusion on all matters," read the simple statement that the Latin power couple released to People Magazine. "It is a painful time for all involved and we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."

No reason was given for the split, although some, like E!'s Giuliana Rancic, are calling the breakup "out of the blue."
"Remember their super sexy performance on Idol recently? There were no signs," she Tweeted after the news was announced.
However, perhaps the fact that J.Lo (once one of the world's most successful actresses/singers/fashion designers) took a rather pedestrian job judging American Idol might be a clue to their breakup. Some speculated earlier this year that the couple's relationship was straining under money woes, with Marc reportedly owing millions of dollars in unpaid taxes. Maybe Jenny from the Block had finally had enough? Is Money Tearing Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Apart?
