Arnold Schwarzenegger's Mistress Speaks Out: 'He Is A Good Man'

Just when you thought Anthony Weiner and his sexting exploits had permanently taken Arnold Schwarzenegger out of the headlines, Arnold's mistress, Mildred "Patty" Baena, decides to break her silence and generate some more publicity for the former California governor and his love child scandal.

Mildred, who was outed as having given birth to Arnold's 13-year-old illegitimate son, recently spoke out about her former lover and his wife to Hello Magazine. Arnold's Mistress Revealed To Be Mildred Patricia Baena

According to the magazine via THR.com, Mildred claims that Maria Shriver, who is reportedly in the process of divorcing her cheating husband, hugged and forgave her after finding out that Mildred, a former housekeeper in their home, had had an affair with Arnold that resulted in a son. (And, if that doesn't qualify Maria for sainthood, we don't know what else would.)

"She was so strong...She cried with me and told me to get off my knees. We held each other and I told her it wasn't Arnie's fault. It takes two," said Mildred in an interview with Hello.

Mildred also hinted that Maria might have known about the affair earlier than she let on:

In fact, Mildred has so much love and respect for the woman whose cheating husband Mildred carried on with in their own home that she expressed hope that Arnold and Maria would reconcile:

"He's a good man and I know he is suffering too...He loves Maria. I hope in time they work things out."

However, with both Maria and Arnold having hired divorce attorneys in recent weeks, it seems less and less likely that the couple will be able to save their marriage. And, certainly, public statements, even complimentary ones, from Arnold's mistress probably aren't helping anyone move on.
