Kim Kardashian's Engagement Buys Kourtney Some Time

Kourtney Kardashian is not only not in any kind of rush to marry her long-time boyfriend and baby daddy, Scott Disick, but she's also thankful that her sister Kim Kardashian is finally engaged. Kim Kardashian Engaged To Kris Humphries

"Kim getting engaged definitely bought me some time, so I don't have to go out and get married right now," Kardashian told E. 

She's happy to have the pressure off her at least briefly; ever since she and Disick had their son Mason, people have been wondering when the two would tie the knot. Now that Kim is planning a wedding that will surely rival the British royal wedding, her sister can breathe easy. At least until the big day has come and gone, Kim will be the one fielding wedding questions and speculations.

"I definitely have some worries, and he hates that," she said. "I couldn't not worry. So it's definitely a struggle ... He is trying to drink responsibly, so we'll see how that goes."

Who could blame her? After Disick's very public drunken escapades on more than one occasion, we think he might be a bit of a liability to the Kardashian empire. And we're sure mama bear Kris Kardashian has had a thing or two to say about Disick joining the clan.

"I love that she doesn't feel pressured to get married, because I think marriage is a very serious thing and I don't think anyone should just jump into it," Khloe reasoned. "And if you are not ready, you are not ready."
