While Maria Shriver was enjoying Memorial Day weekend in Malibu with her kids, her estranged husband Arnold Schwarzenegger was seen riding around town on his Indian motorcycle. He rode solo this time, although he usually rides with some friends. Reports also say that Schwarzenegger spent some time at his Idaho home before making his way back to the west coast for the weekend. Either way, one thing is clear: he didn't spend this holiday with his family. Arnold And Maria's Breakup Signals A New Age Of Relationships
When Shriver was spotted out to dinner on Sunday night with her kids and some friends, she was apparently all smiles. Surprising, considering how this month has been for her family. It seems like the holiday weekend was good for Shriver, though. Hopefully it gave her a chance to focus on her children and friends rather than the recent news that Schwarzenegger fathered a child with the family's former housekeeper.
Shriver also turned her attention to veterans, tweeting, "This weekend, I'm thinking of all who gave their life, and all the families who lost a loved one, in service to this great country. You have our deepest gratitude and respect. God bless." Salute These Sexy Veterans On Memorial Day
She also tweeted this: "We don't know what is going on inside of most people. On this #MemorialDay, when so many are grieving in obscurity or silence, let's...keep that in mind. Be kind so many people are grieving."
A possible reference to not only the families affected by war, but also Shriver's family, one that has been affected by infidelity? Possibly. Shriver's Memorial Day tweets seemed to hold multiple meanings, especially this one: "My daughter once gave me a great Plato quote that said, 'Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.' I love that. So true." 10 Reasons Maria Shriver Is Better Without Arnold Schwarzenegger
