Lady Gaga & Luc Carl Split (Again)

Clad in a demented, Carmen Miranda-esque wedding dress, Lady Gaga appeared on Friday's episode of the UK's Graham Norton Show and revealed that she is no longer in a romance—bad or otherwise. The 25-year-old singer told the talk show host, "I don't have a boyfriend and haven't been on any dates recently...I haven't been on any dates recently because I have been working so hard and I get very bored very quickly with men." Up until this announcement, Lady Gaga was in a relationship with musician/bartender Luc Carl, whom she first began dating back in 2005 when the pop icon was just a NYC unknown named Stefani Germanotta. She and Luc broke it off around the time Stefani went Gaga, but the pair eventually found their way back to each other last year. Despite persistent rumors that Gaga and Luc were planning to get married soon, the couple have decided (at least for now) to call it quits.

But have Gaga and Luc really played the last move in their love game? We don't think so. After all, the first breakup didn't take. Also, Luc is one of the few men who knows the "real" Gaga,  and she has always given the impression that her "cool Nebraska guy" is the love of her life. When introducing "You and I"—a song about her reconciliation with Luc—at last year's Lollapalooza, Gaga dedicated it to "the most important person in my life." So, Gaga may be young, single and ready to promote the hell out of her new album, but we have a feeling that when her life is a little less hectic, it'll be time for Gaga & Luc, Part III.
