Tracy Morgan Took A Stripper To A Knicks Game

Tracy Jordan Morgan is not one to show shame or remorse for his actions. Some may say he's unscrupulous, negligent, and lazy, but what he does to warrant these kinds of adjectives rarely hurt others. Unlike the mouth-running anti-Semite Mel Gibson, the misogynist Charlie Sheen, and the abusive and temperamental Chris Brown, Tracy is a harmless screwball who sometimes gets a little carried away: pulling his shirt up over his head and slapping his gut, or announcing that Sarah Palin is "great masturbation material"on live television. Just like any other comedian's crude or lewd jokes, we take it all with a grain of salt. And let's be honest, we've seen much, much worse. (Again, see above.) Did Mel Gibson Hit His Baby?

But what kind of boyfriend does the screwball comedian make? We tend to write off types like Tracy as not being up to snuff when it comes to boyfriend material, but his ex Tanisha Hall liked him so much that she gave him one of her kidneys. And this was after they'd ended their relationship. So he must have been doing something right.

And now, everyone seems to be either shocked or offended (or both) that Tracy took a cocktail waitress to a Knicks game. As if it's the most taboo thing in the world! (Can't he find a "nice" girl to take out? his dissenters silently ask themselves.) But we think it's kind of sweet. Cocktail waitresses deserve to go to NBA playoff games too, and if they can find someone who has courtside seats to take them, all the better. (We would go to a Knicks game with Tracy in a heartbeat.) And who knows . . . maybe they actually really like each other?

The woman who accompanied Morgan to the basketball game is Denise Reel, and she works at a strip club gentlemen's club called Headquarters in New York. The Knicks lost to the Celtics that night, but Tracy seemed to be ebullient throughout the game nonetheless. Perhaps it had to do with his lady companion, of whom he referred to as "my superstar . . . Denise" when asked by MSG halftime reporter Jill Martin.
