Using Sex Toys
No offense to your "plastic boyfriend," but your toxin-filled, non-biodegradable sex toys have got to go. The manufacture of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) doesn't just pollute the Earth. Leached phthalates in jelly rubber toys can be absorbed by anal and vaginal tissue and possibly lead to reproductive problems, liver and kidney damage and cancer.
How can something so bad feel so good?!
The sex toy industry still needs to do something about regulating the materials used to create our beloved vibrators and such. Until then, seek out green sex toy options. Look for phthalate-free toys, like the I Rub My Duckie vibrator, or those made without PVC.
If you're into dildos, opt for glass—it's greener and easier to clean. (And beautiful! This Octopussy Dildo could practically double as a paperweight.) If using batteries is a concern, harness the energy of the sun with the Solar Bullet. You can detach the solar cell from the vibrator, charge it by day and enjoy at night.
