Elizabeth Hurley & Hugh Grant: Inching Towards A New Relationship

The former couple reportedly takes cooking, Italian, and guitar lessons together.

Even when she was married to Arun Nayar, Elizabeth Hurley never shied away from maintaining a close friendship with her ex, Hugh Grant, whom she dated for 13 years before amicably splitting with in 2000. (Hugh supposedly even went on vacation with the couple and was said to have a room at their house.)

And now that that her divorce from Arun is in motion (and Liz has gotten her first post-split fling out of the way with Shane Warne), it is too much of a stretch to wonder whether Liz and Hugh might get back together? Elizabeth Hurley And Hugh Grant Are Still BFF

Although the 45-year-old British actress denounced any rumors of a reunion with Hugh as "preposterous," in a her first interview since announcing her divorce, Liz talked a lot about her very good friend, Mr. Grant, and admitted that they might end up together, albeit in a platonic way.

"We are currently taking cooking, Italian and guitar lessons and argue ferociously over who is more ahead in cooking, slightly less cack-handed at the guitar but grudgingly agree his Italian is a whisper better," she told Hello Magazine via PopEater.com.

"I completely consider him one of my family and love spending time with him, even though we annoy each other at times." Liz Hurley Splits From Husband, Is Caught With Another Man

"If all else fails, we'll end up living together like Darby and Joan," she added, referencing a British expression for an old, married couple.

So, could Liz and Hugh get their happy ending after all? Although it didn't quite work out for Sienna Miller and Jude Law the second time around, we have our fingers crossed!
