Joe Jonas & Ashley Greene Split

It looks like it's all over between Joe Jonas and Ashley Greene. According to the New York Post, the couple broke up "weeks ago" after having dated since last summer.

Ironically, the split coincides with an interview that Joe, 21, gave to Details Magazine for their April issue, in which he gushes about his relationship with the Twilight actress: "I think what works about it is she really puts my feelings first. She understands my busy schedule," he said.

So, does that mean that Ashley did the dumping if Joe was praising her up until only recently? Although the Page Six source claims that the split was mutual, it's possible that Ashley wasn't so understanding of the reports that Joe made out with an unidentified brunette while on tour in Brazil and dumped him. After all, this is the woman that famously convinced a Jonas Brother to throw away his purity ring and engage in premarital sex - She seemed to have had the upper-hand in the relationship, being 3 years older and seemingly more experienced. Did Ashley Greene Corrupt Joe Jonas?

And while Joe had developed a reputation as a heart-breaker in the past, we think Ashley could very well have decided to move on from the relationship, as Celebitchy suggested, and trade up for a more famous boyfriend. Now that she's officially single, wouldn't be surprised at all if her name gets thrown around as Justin Timberlake's next possible girlfriend/fling.
