YourTango Is Hiring A Part-Time Assistant Editor

YourTango is seeking an experienced web editor for a temporary, part-time assistant editor position.

The qualified candidate has 2+ years of web editing experience. He/she should be expert at writing, editing and producing for the web, have experience managing writers/bloggers and be well-versed in social media, particularly Twitter. The ideal candidate has experience working for a women’s lifestyle site. If you live and breathe social media, emerging web trends and online content, you're probably a great fit!

Duties include:
• Selecting content for our daily newsletter
• Managing YourTango’s Twitter feed
• Implementing content partnerships
• Editing blog posts and other site content
• Managing bloggers and interns
• Organizing contracts and invoices
• Other editorial and marketing projects as needed

The YourTango Assistant Editor works 24 hours/week from our New York offices. We'll consider telecommuting for the right candidate.

The position starts as soon as possible.
