We gotta hand it to the Cyrus clan—they certainly know how to make headlines. First, Billy Ray goes public this week with his claim that Hannah Montana destroyed his family. So where did this rumored flirtation go down? Sources for Hollywood Life say that the two connected backstage at the Grammys last weekend, where John was rocking a very Johnny Depp-style look. (Who wore it best? You decide.) After the show, the controversial starlet was supposedly "chasing after" John at all the after-parties like a "puppy dog!"

"At one point, Miley was rubbing John’s back and, when he thought no one was looking, he leaned over and kissed her!” said an HL insider. "After that happened, Miley slapped his butt and told him, ‘You rock!’” How romantic.

It's not the first time we've heard about Miley's swoon-y stylings for John—after all, she tweeted that she had a crush on the outspoken pop star back in 2009. But based on the 15-year age difference between the two, it seemed pretty unlikely that anything would ever come of it. Yet stranger things have happened, and John's pretty into making headlines himself (just ask Jessica, Taylor, Jennifer Love and all the other exes he's left in his wake.)

So does this mean it's on with Mayer and dunzo for Miley's budding relationship with So Undercover co-star Joshua Bowman? Hopefully we won't have to wait until the American Music Awards to find out!
