So make a commitment to trying something new every now and then. It can be as simple as switching positions or kissing a new place on your lover's body. And don't be afraid to discuss your sexual fantasies. Men often fear that they'll offend their wives or girlfriends if they disclose their fantasies, while women sometimes believe that men should be able to sense what they want. Both mindsets only keep you from achieving full sexual satisfaction.
In fact, verbal communication can open up a whole new world of eroticism for the both of you. If either of you is squeamish when it comes to talking about sex, just take it slow. Make an agreement that you won't judge each other, no matter what. Of course, never expect your partner to agree to something he or she feels uncomfortable trying. If you feel disappointed that your lover doesn't want to try something that really turns you on, don't sulk. Take a deep breath and let it go.
