Was Hugh Hefner "Too Young" To Marry Holly Madison?

Sex and the City fans know that a wise woman by the name of Miranda Hobbs once said, "Men are like cabs: when they're available, their light goes on." Well, to hear Kendra Wilkinson tell it, Hugh Hefner was driving around with an imaginary "Occupied" sign the whole seven years he was dating Playmate (and now "Peepshow" star) Holly Madison. Though Madison was blindsided by Hef's recent engagement to Crystal Harris, Wilkinson told Fox News that only recently has the Playboy founder warmed up to the idea of settling down. "It is just life and it goes to show that when a guy is not ready, a guy is not ready," shared Wilkinson. "It doesn't matter what age you are. Hef was too young!"

Being that Hef was well into senior citizen territory throughout his relationship with Madison, some might find the idea that he was "too young" a bit on the ridiculous side. Then again, this is the same man that the Baltimore Sun deemed "a creepy old guy padding around the mansion in slippers, pajamas and smoking jacket, pathetically cavorting with the same young bimbos and living the dissolute life of an aging Lothario—the sexualized Peter Pan who refused to grow up" (via CNN).

For Holly's part, she seems to be doing her best to keep a brave front, and her "reaction" is scheduled to air this Sunday on her E! show Holly's World. And it appears she's looking to date guys on the other end of the Peter Pan spectrum, as her current boyfriend, All-Time Low guitarist Jack Barakat, is just 22 years old. (The two met on Twitter, which Hef has also embraced wholeheartedly.) As for whether Barakat's cab light is on? Hard to tell, but don't write him off simply because he's a young one. After all, if Hef is any indication, age really is nothing but a number!
