Natalie Portman Is Giving Up Hollywood For Motherhood

There are only 33 days left before the Academy Awards, and there is probably no one more anxious to get it over with than pregnant Best Actress nominee Natalie Portman. The Black Swan actress recently told People that she is tired of looking "like a whale" in public and hopes that she will "get to lie in bed and eat popcorn and watch TV for the rest of it" (after she wins her Oscar, of course.)

The 29-year-old has had a whirlwind past few years and is reportedly planning to focus on her family, which now includes fiancé Benjamin Millepied, after the arrival of their first child. Behind Natalie And Ben's 'Black Swan' Romance

"Natalie has made eight films in three years and will take a well-earned rest after her baby is born in the summer," a source told the Daily Mail.

Although she faces some stiff competition in the form of The Kids Are All Right's Annette Bening and Blue Valentine's Michelle Williams, Natalie is thought to be the front-runner for the Oscar race.

We just hope that she doesn't fall victim to the Best Actress curse and have to suffer the simultaneous fall-out of her relationship and the arrival of a newborn baby like Sandra Bullock did last year.

Then again, her ballet dancer beau doesn't really seem the type to cheat with a publicity-hungry, tattooed woman, so, hopefully, everything will work out for the darling Miss Portman!
