John Legend Proposes To Girlfriend, Model Chrissy Teigen

The smooth singer now belongs to a hot Victoria's Secret model.

Getting engaged is the thing to do this holiday season. John Legend is the latest to pop the question. The soul singer proposed to his long time girlfriend while on holiday in the sun drenched Maldives.

The 32-year-old's rep confirmed the engagement to model Chrissy Teigen but we don't know exactly when he asked for her hand in marriage. There's talk he may have gotten down on bended knee on Christmas Day. We might found out more this weekend when the Grammy Award winner performs in Las Vegas. He's booked to perform at the Pearl at the Palms on New Year's Eve. He may even decide a short engagement is a good engagement and take advantage of the string of nearby chapels. Although I reckon a quickie 'I Do' is not really his style.
