Guy Ritchie Opens Up About His "Soap Opera" Marriage With Madonna

Although Guy Ritchie and Madonna split in 2008, the director says he has no regrets over their time together and is grateful for their marriage because of their children – sons Rocco, 11, and David Banda, 6.

"I enjoyed my first marriage. It's definitely not something I regret," he told Details of his eight-year union with the pop queen. "The experience was ultimately very positive. I love the kids that came out of it, and I could see no other route to take. But you move on, don't you?"

Guy – who recently became a father again when girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley gave birth to a boy – says his life's triumphs and failures helped him gain perspective.
